In memory of Muriel Furrer

It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to Muriel Furrer, a passionate Swiss mountain biker who left us far too early on 27 September after a serious accident.

Muriel was an impressive athlete who celebrated numerous successes in the disciplines of mountain biking, road racing and cyclo-cross. Her exceptional technique, stamina and positivity made her an outstanding personality both in sport and in other areas of life.

In addition to her sporting successes, Muriel attended the United School of Sports, where she completed her commercial training with a vocational baccalaureate. She was not only a successful athlete, but also a determined student and an inspiration to many.

We will always remember Muriel as a motivating, ambitious and, above all, very warm personality. We are proud that she represented the Maya Popcorn brand as an advertising medium. Her loss leaves a huge gap in our community and in the hearts of all those who knew her. We will honour her memory.
